May want to replace tensioner bolts with belts

This is becoming a theme for me where whenever I decided to loosen anything on this truck something breaks. While replacing all of my belts I had the joy to have each of my tensioner bolts snap.Once I was able to get new pulley bolts. I decided to just go to ACE and get replacement tensioner bolts for less than $2 a piece. (Toyota wanted anywhere from $8- $11 depending which stealership I called. The only down side is the ACE bolts have a 1/2" head instead of the 14mm head on the OEM bolts. I have decided I will always replace these bolts when I do my belts. Dealing with them breaking is not worth saving the $2 dollars to replace them.Especially the one for the A/C tensioner pulley that one was a beeyatch to get out. I had to cut it out with a Recip. saw

You replaced metric bolts with standard ones?
No they were the same M8 1.25 threads. (grade 8 tensil strength)Just the bolt head used a 1/2" wrench instead of a 14mm.Perhaps they were supposed to fit a 13mm but the 1/2" fit much better
