method Mr312 17x9

I’m planning on buying the mr312 methods 17x9 but the guy at 4 wheel parts says im going to have to do some body mod to fit them. It’s a 17 off-road with a 3-1 leveling kit on it. Any one here know what the guy is talking about. I’m already running a 17x7 with a 285/70/17 with no issues. Any help would be appreciated.

Wider wheel and -12 offset is going to push the tire out more it might start rubbing on the front wheel well when you turn. Molding and trimming plastic is most likely what he’s talking about.

What’s your current off set on the 17x7” wheels?

I believe it’s 0 off set. I spoke with him more and that is what he was talking about.
