They can pull you over for any HID kit. I would if I was a cop since they are blinding. HIDs are a ricer mod now.

So true for both points. People with these think there so cool when all they do is blin people and i have 20/20 vision

I had them on my quad's reflective housings and I couldn't see anything at night. I've seen them on mini vans, tow trucks, semis, beat down POS cars, moving vans and even some old Peugeot the other day. The rice is strong with this mod.

Has anybody done an led headlight conversion? And if so how are they? Better than HIDs?

I just did a couple of weeks ago. They are pretty awesome.
1. Instant on. No warm up time.
2. Plug and play. No need to wire directly to battery (which the higher quality HID's need).
3. Cheaper than HID's if you don't mind waiting 3 weeks do get directly from factory.
4. I think they may actually be a tad brighter than HID's. But very similar on lumen output.
Led on left and stock on right.
