New Tacoma owner

Just bought a 2016 Tacoma TRD Sport and love it.
I was thinking about getting a remote start for it. I’m not sure if I want to use a phone app or get another key fob.
I know there are advantages and disadvantages for both.
Any thoughts ?

Welcome to the forum! I have a remote start on my '17 OffRoad......https://www.12volt.solutions/?gclid...z27JbVgGhKqQLweSmx-gbCKf7YNiOFsBoCyHMQAvD_BwE......your '16 needs to be an automatic.......this remote start is easy install.....works with factory fob or you can get the phone app from them.......works great! There are others available but I'm not real familiar with them.

Welcome. 12 volt solutions allows you to use the OEM fob and is an easy install.
