Well now that's interesting John. I've never heard of anyone having a stock pond with tilapia. That's pretty cool!

Its funny i started with a small container i have around the house
Throw in some guppies they had so much babies i wanted a bigher tank i end up with a stock tank and so on
Then add tilapia and catfish
Its really relaxing watching them swimming around
Plus the bog filter i used is over kill

For now they are only eating lettuce lol
I dont wanna feed them pellets

I only do 25% water change once a month , but I filter 12x the water volume an hour so that helps...

I used to do freshwater aquariums. At one point I had 8 tanks ranging from 5 gallon to 55 gallons. I did 50% water changes on them all every month, twice a month if the water test required it. Too much work to move so I sold the all when I bought my new house.

We went to another place down cape called luitenit's island the causeway floods at high tide ! No way to get on or off expect to wade of the island. That's my wife standing in the road pulling the kayak .there has to be a joke in there somewhere ? How' d the kayak cross the road ? Ah wait for high tide lmao!
