Paint Job Recs

Hi, Everyone –

I am new to the forum. I live in Austin, Texas, and I have a 2004 Toyota Tacoma extended cab, 4 x 4. It’s in excellent shape, but it has seen some wear and tear on the paint after all these years. Who in Austin is the definitive paint job specialist that can repaint my car to showroom perfection? Thanks, Preston.
 
2oo4 was the last model year for the Gen1 Tacoma
then the Gen2 whackaroos came out and the downHill beginith

have you made the rounds for estimates?
 
Talk to your insurance agent. They may know a good body shop. Ask around at work. Visit some car shows, ask different owners.

Get quotes and do a face to face visit to the body shop. Ask about details on the different levels of work. What are thier steps? What products do they use? What is their warranty?

Just so you are aware. A complete paint job involves disassembly of the vehicle. Cost could easily push 5 figures. Of course, there is always MAACO for $99.99.
 
some of THE best paint jobs for reasonable coin i have read is across the border in Mexico
but this was coming from California that has strict painting laws to abide by or U gunna git it
 
You mean chrome jobs, where the average life span of a mexican is 45-50 years, if the mescal doesn't do them in first.
