Trying to figure out what this part is The skid plate attaches to it on a pre-runner 2012 I'm making a new skid plate And wanted to make new Lower profile brackets To talk to skid plate up higher.

It's some sort of bracing.

I can make a new bracket But I was just wondering if it's structural.

It's a brace sub-assembly, front suspension member. I've added a diagram I found with code #'s. Yours appears to be the left diagram.

A buddy won a Pelfreybuilt skid and it removes these bars. They are very light.
