"Pink" what the hell!

Finally got around to inspecting my engine bay and saw this pink flange attached to the fan clutch. Why in the hell would they paint this part pink?:blink:

I look at it and thought "Oh gee. It's pink." That's as much thought as I put into it.

Toyota hired a manufacturer to build the part. The manufacturer uses pink paint.

Yeah just noticed it on mine this weekend when I removed my sway bar. It's so.... Pink.
