When im at a red light . My truck feels like someone hit me in the rear. Why is that.

Try being a tanker driver if you don't like the axle wrap lmao. I don't even notice it on my truck. If I do, I'm like "that's nice" and go on my day lol.

It’s axel wrap. The weak rear leaf springs allows the axel to twist from the force of the stop and once you stop it clanks back into place and you feel a bump. It seems to happen more when it’s cold to me. When it first happened I got out and almost had some words with the lady behind me. I then posted a thread about the issue and @whippersnapper02 said the same thing he said here. After lots of research and trips to the dealer I now do what @mcklovin77 does and say that was a good one and go on my day.

I notice this also on my 06 Taco. Seems to be when the AC kicks in because the RPM's jumps a by a couple hundred

Anytime strain is put on the motor the RPM will raise.

My 15 only does it when the a/c compressor kicks on. But it's very slight.

Yes it did, axle wrap been a deal for 'yotas since at least 98, 97 & earlier had shorter leaf spring things...Axle wrap may not have been an issue then...
