Idk know much about rear differentials but my question I have is there any way to convert the rear diff to full time lock and drive at higher speeds? I know with the rear diff lock on my Tacoma they say not to drive with it locked at high speeds.. Is this true also?

Are you 4wd or 2wd? The reason Toyota says no faster than 5mph is because the truck handles differently with the rear locked. Lock it up under 5 then go as fast as you like. Of course I'm not responsible for anything that happens if you do. :) If you have ever ridden a quad then you know what it's like to have a locked rear end.

I made a video when one guy claimed I would cause damage:
