Second opinion

Hey all,
I recently found a 2010 Tacoma with almost 80,000 miles for $25,000. Can anyone look into the listing and tell me what they think?

25k sounds a little high to me but these trucks are stupid expensive.. Maybe another member here will chime in with an option... Looks like a nice truck though. If u want that truck I'd definitely try to talk them down.
KBB says $22,000 area so I would definitely talk them down to that range. It has been on their lot since late may, early june and has had quite a few price drops already. My huge kicker right now is that it's almost 3hrs away from me. I want to make sure if/when I head up there I make it worth while.

Looks like interweb deal of the day is $23,987 hit and submit the e-price and see what they come back with. $22-23k is fair. Looks clean and like it’s got some extras, clear taillights, roof rack, side steps. 0F2463E1-7B43-4438-8D88-1AD454059CEB.jpeg

That price is definitely new. I've been eyeing this truck for over a month, when it was listed at almost $26,000. The internet specialist person at the dealership on so kindly sent me a video of it. Turns out it also has a backup cam that isn't listed. If I can figure out how, I'll post the video.

As stated previously, 22-23k is fair. You can get a 2015 TRD off-road with 20k on it for 28-29k. I saw a 2017 for 31k yesterday with 44k on it. Just a matter of finding the right deal.

That's part of what's driving me crazy right now! I'm finding AMAZING deals in Oregon, which is about the same distance as this truck. Problem with that is there's no tax there so once I register it here I'll be paying that out of pocket. It's maddening.

That sucks. But like they’ve said $22k is about the going price for a clean OffRoad right now of that year.
It sucks these older Yotas cost so much, but the good thing is the resell value. These trucks hold their value forever so if you get one than you’re the owner of that positive equity. It’s a good place to be.

Oh ya, I plan on buying one and never letting it go. I did that once and I've been kicking myself since the second I signed that paper. Bad life choices, lessons learned.

I did it once too. [emoji20] In a Chevy 1500. I’m not proud of it but it happened. We all have regrets.

The no tax was nice. There still isn’t tax on vehicles with more than 7500 miles on them. Oregon just passed a luxury tax back in January 2018 that any vehicle with less than 7500 miles you’ll pay a 0.05% luxury tax on. I didn’t have to pay it on my 2017 but if I get a 2018 or 2019 I’ll have to pay it. :(

It’s worth it ! Get the ‘18. It has all the stuff I wanted on my ‘17:
Auto headlights,
Clips for passenger floor mat,
JBL,
TSS-P,
leather,
Plus all the other options added into the Premium and Tech packages. And the OR package.
This is all the stuff I wanted on the ‘17 but I had totaled a vehicle and had to buy one quick. That’s all that was available I liked at the time.

I feel the same way but I already have the OR. I wanted the JBL but couldn’t find one in white with the LB. So I upgraded to the kickers which helped. I also wanted leather and was going to do clazzios but then 2018 came out and it was an option and they added the TSS-P I just starting SMH. I’ve been looking at the 2018 DCLB OR super white premium with tech the closest one is about 460 miles away right now. My local dealer can trade for it but when that happens they like to try and jack the price up. They have that inferno DCLB OR prem/tech pckg for $38k right now but the color isn’t my thing and the orange stitching and orange dash just Nope. I like yours @Bogunn because it doesn’t have the orange accents... only if it was a LB. haha

Aw man! Last thing I need right now is to be rationally talked into an '18! However, I dont really like the look of some of them. May just be the package, but it's not the Tacoma I know and love. I love the thought of auto headlights though

Haha. I know man. It’s tough to find one with everything you want. You know I love a long bed but that was my sacrifice with this one.
