Got a 2007 tacoma 2wheel drive 4 cylinder there are 2 different length shock/struts that both say they fit one is 12.05 in collapsed and 19in extended the other is 13.5in collapsed and 22.56 in extended any idea which is better or what size the originals are

Strange, id get the oem part #, cross reference those measurements.

U dont want something too long extended or u may bottom out the shock and not even touch the bumpstops. Anything too short and u will top out and damage the shock.

I'd bet that the difference is one shock is for the 5 lug and the other one was for a Prerunner.
