Softtopper Dust proof

Anyone have any recommendations on how to seal up a softtopper to limit the amount of dust that comes through the back flap ? Hesitant to stick the adhesive Velcro directly to my tailgate.
 
Scott, I am with you. I ended up taking the Velcro strips that are included with the soft Topper and stuck them to a 65inch magnetic strip. The Velcro side sticks directly to the Velcro portion of the topper flap and the magnetic strip side to my tailgate. I haven’t tested it yet on dusty road but I am confident it should solve the problem. Thanks for looking out
