Strut Failure

My 2016 4 door TRD Sport has just experienced a failure of the front struts after only 15000 Kms of use. No off road use to date! The dealership identified the issue after my second trip there to complain about loud front end noises. Has anyone else experienced this? Both struts were replaced on warranty.
 
My wife has had 5 Honda Odyssey's and one had one strut fail at about 1,000 miles. The thing still had the little nubs from the mold on the tires it was so new. It happens.
 
Thanks for the clarity. Just drove my truck after the coil overs were replaced. Amazing difference. I think both shocks were faulty. Truck feels brand new....again. It's interesting how a persons sensitivity to a an problem can be masked by a part failure that has been slowly getting worse over time. The noise of the failure in the end was the give away.
