On my new Offroad Taco, there is a bracket in the engine bay, passenger side near firewall.
It has three (or more) bolt studs sticking up.
What is this designed for? Is there a part for thisIMG_0240 Tacoma bracket.jpg ?

I really hope there not mounting the Jack under the hood now... That would be a terrible place to have to get the Jack on a hot summer day on a long drive...

Overthruster!

The ABS pump is mounted there on non 4wd offroad models. Keep on driving.

You can see the lines on top here:

It's been this way for Tacomas since 2009.

I have the 2016 4wd drive Off Road model. Nothing there!

That's why I said non 4wd offroad. All the 4wd offroads use a combination abs pump/master cylinder/brake booster instead of the standard donut booster. They did this when ATRAC was added in 09 since it this setup is faster and stronger. Offroad cruise control (crawl control) also requires the speed and power of this system.

In the end what I'm really looking for, hoping for, is a place and bracket, to hold a second battery?
I know that is far way (but lots of room) from the other battery ...

all ideas welcome

I've seen people use those mounts for air compressors, aux fuse boxes and 2nd batteries. The possibilities are endless.
