Tacoma vs old Toyota pickup

I use to wheel the hell out of the 85-95 Toyota pickups with the 22re. They are super easy to work on. If you can find a 90 to 95 Toyota extra cab PU with the 22re I’d get that. You can buy some extra parts cheap for it like water pump, oil pump, hoses, gasket kit l, extra nuts and bolts... etc... you can rebuild the motor with a small mm socket and wrench kit.

Good thanks i will look into that as actually they have the chassis of the present day hilux PU which is known to haul 1 metric ton
