Thud under truck, might be spare tire shifting?

Sometimes during acceleration from a stop I hear a thud under neither the truck. Definitely isn't coming from the entire up front and is from behind me. I assume it's the spare tire shifting a little. Any thoughts or anyone else have some experience with this?

Can you feel it at all or is it just a thud sound? Does it sound mechanical or something else? Pay attention to what your RPM is when it happens and what gear it's in, all this info will help diagnose the issue...

Maybe get up underneath the truck to see if your spare it loose? If not I'd say no that the spare is not your problem. Just saying.

It doesn't feel mechanical, it happens only when I'm at a stop and accelerate from there.

Sounds like a tsb (technical service bulletin) that hasn't gone away with the new trucks, pity.
