To Shell or not to Shell

I'm struggling with keeping the tonto cover or putting on a shell. I love the look of no shell but love the additional space and storage the shell provides. Any thoughts???

I want a shell too. Almost got a supersport for a grand a few months ago.
But then again, i like throwing whatever i want in the back, not having tinted windows on top of my tinted windows.

But Dug would prolly like the shell, and when we travel id like the shell for waterproofing luggage.

But i like my toolbox.

So much want

Then theres the Bestop, but i hear its not the best at water deflection, and can be a pita to raise in cold temps.
 
Your truck, do whatever you want to it. I like covers but not shells. Just kinda looks weird with a shell. BUT, it serves a purpose.
 
This is always a pro/con thing

I have a shell and it is great for locking water proof-ish storage. Good place to sleep, carry dogs etc

But the roof and door do limit storage and change the looks

At the end of the day it depends on your needs

I camp, shoot/hunt and want a safe place for my dogs so my shell is well used
