Under hood insulation???

I've noticed on my 2019 that there is no under hood insulation whatsoever. Is this normal?
I bought my Tacoma used with 23,000 miles on it so I was just wondering if someone had removed it.

My '17OR doesn't have it either.....didn't come with it!

I have a 2020 and no insulation either. I asked the same question about this on another forum and consensus is that it is not needed. (?)

Thanks. It makes me feel better. After buying the truck I found out that the front bumper had been replaced. Not sure why.
After finding that out I started looking around for other front end damage. None found so far...
