These planes are going well over 125 mph when landing. Really takes some skill on a moving ship.

Nope. Landing speed relative to the ship is reduced by the ship's speed and heading into the wind.

As the fighter lands, it catches an arresting cable which brings the plane to an abrupt stop.

It is serious business, remember the ship will be pitching and yawing with the ocean waves.

I am extremely grateful for all our military, all the veterans and all who gave everything. They give so we can live in peace.

And they probably have a fully automated landing system by now. How do you think drones are going to land on carriers?

Yeah, thats all new technology happening. Still, anyway you look at it, landing on a carrier is more risky then on land.
