Rule of thumb... if your extended thumb is to small to block the hazmat incident you are to close.

Me too. What was your MOS? I was 11B1P Airborne Infantry.
Originally 42A then retrained into the R3SP program (suicide prevention). I never really did my job because there were other areas that needed skills...I was in charge of APFT's for awhile and fitness and nutrition, then obviously helicopter crew but my blood pressure was always too low....I'd always dwindle on the fine line of blacking out with combat maneuvers, then range safety and range coach for females that couldn't qualify....I miss that the most! Then the R3SP program.
