Nice to see 2 of us do maintenance on our vehicles so far
You don't have an 80w-90 option
Wont let me add anything now.
So u use.......
Nothing yet I haven't had to change it out on my taco. She's got 2100 miles on her.
My tundra I used:
Castrol/Syntrax Limited Slip gear oil SAE 75W-90 had no problems with it. Worked well and was smooth.
I would be interested to see what sauce works we'll on taco's.
Used to use Mobil One, switched to Lucas non synthetic per a recommendation by ECGS but then switched to Amsoil since I'm a preferred customer.
So do u have to pay to be a preferred customer or something?
Of course. I get a discount on shipping and oil cost though.
So its kinda like prime or costco for oils?
Rambo should do this
I changed my diff oil to Amsoil Severe Gear 75W90 too ..
I just go to the dealer to get my diff fluid changed.... yes I'm that lazy no need to say it lol
I hear u can bank the saved moneys and count it as income so your employer looks better.
I hope you check it atleast?
dealerships screw up too
I got my diff fluid changed few months ago, how to I check for errors? Any tips?
Pop the fill port off, make sure your fluid is full.... get some on your finger, make sure it is fresh and looks amber/honey colored.
Make sure it's on level ground first.
True, its the little things
I use Redline 75w85 gl5 for the diffs its the only company other than oem Toyota that makes this weight at a somewhat reasonable cost
