Hi Guys,
I have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma that a girlfried ran the oil out of it and kept driving. Needless to say the engine is ruined and needs to be replaced. I found a good motor from a 2003 that that salvage yard told me that the wiring harness differece is minor and that this motor would work in her 2001 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner 4x2. VIN N, 5th digit, 5VZFE engine, 6 cyl), 4x2, w/Pre Runner; 3.4L (VIN N, 5th digit, 5VZFE engine, 6 cyl)
Anyone run into this or can point me in the right place to see the differneces and how to fix?
