How much extra fuel do you carry?

lol.... yeah
Seriously theres a few runs here that it would be prudent to carry a few extra gallons but with proper planning I really never need to.besides I live on an island that can be driven around in a day and a half tank of gas. But 4low is a diffrent beast......
 
I bring 2 gallons on trail runs, just in case someone else doesn't fill up.

I always top off, since my lo gets me an awesome 4-5 mpg, but even at that, ill use up half a tank at most

I carry 10-15 extra gallons when doing the Mojave road. But seriously dont carry any around if you arent out on the trails. We where in Laughlin the night before a Mojave Road run and in the parking garage surrounded by atleast 15 other Tacos they cut my strap and stole all 3 of my filled VP racing cans. That sucked having to buy all new cans that day and fill them up (with about 18 gal)
 
Wow, it just sickens me to hear **** like that... have to have everything locked down these days.

Yup, and i think the thing that got to me the most was the fact it was a pull strap, not even a ratchet strap. and they cut the summanabich. Next time I wont be carrying any extra gas as I will have a fuel cell with plenty to handle the entire weekend :)
