I've used the replacement drop in's in Jeep's, Harley's and most recently my FJ, but when I put one into my Tacoma it just didn't sound right. Seemed to just run rough. I'm usually an OCD person, but my wife noticed the difference too. I swapped it out for the factory filter and all seems right...

If so, any observations?

My stereo blacked out a couple of days this week. Dropped my Taco off yesterday at the dealership. Was told this is happening on Tacos and Tundras quite a bit, so Toyota knows about it.

It's inside; and it's faint enough that it can't be heard over the stereo, but it's flat out annoying me. I've checked the seats to make sure they're secured, glove box, sun roof, etc. Annoying

Just leased a 2016 4D TRD 4x4, and when I driving over uneven pavement, there is a strange 'polyester pants' sound inside the cab. I've had the truck a whopping 4 days, so I'm hoping that this sound will settle down as the truck gets some drive time. I haven't been able to ID where the sound...
