The size plugs are 11/16" and 9/16".

One of the little things I love about the manual is it stays in 6th the whole time on the interstate in cruise. My dad has an auto and it constantly shifts in cruise set at 70 mph.

I would check the U-bolts first. Don't quote me, but I believe they should be torqued to about 65 ft-lbs. some folks have found them pretty loose.

Have you tightened your u-bolts?

I would go with the one that weighs less.
