Noisy throw out bearing.

I have a ‘15 TRD 6 spd. At idle the throw out bearing ( I suspect ) makes a ton of noise!!!
I’m ready to do a clutch replacement in order to replace the throw-out bearing. The stealership wants a LOT of money to do it. Has anyone had a similar experience?

How much do you consider as a lot of money? To do it right you need to do a complete clutch replacent, clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, slave cylinder, and either turn youre flywheel or a new one. Depending on the cost of a new flywheel sometimes it's cheaper to get the old one turned, other times it's cheaper just to get a new one. You only wanna do this job once so don't take short cuts just to save a buck. Do it right the first time and then enjoy.

I bought a cheap clutch kit after my clutch started slipping so badly I couldn’t drive it. Not a month later the throw out bearing started making noise. It was maddening.

I finally decided the hell with it and bought a new URD racing stage 2 clutch kit with a heavy flywheel. Haven’t had a problem since. Lesson learned.

The URD kit, did you get the throwout bearing upgrade kit?
