What do you use your Tacoma for?

Sounds like a night for either some nice hot stew or chili! I just had a couple hot bowls of some homemade chili myself!
Wed night wifee was gone to bible study.....had left-over pork with Raman noodles.......last night meatballs and mashed taters with sweet corn......kept me warm all night! LOL

This car belongs to my cousin's (girl cousin) father-in-law! He said it's actually a former California Highway Patrol car, not sure how he acquired it but he put the markings for the county sheriff's department in the county where he lives here in Texas on it! He races it at local drag strips! I can't remember the size of the engine but it's 500 something cubic inches! My cousin's husband was a store manager at an Auto Zone for a while which is where this pic was taken at car show he had there a few years ago!

Oops I accidentally double posted the first pic! Lol!

Well we're heading down now, temp. was 55° this morning 39° now and continuing to drop! Rain is moving in with freezing rain behind that and sleet behind that then snow! We're gonna be in the teens overnight and Friday morning the windchill is gonna be in the negatives, hoping we don't have any downed powerlines from all the ice! I've already told my boss I'm taking personal days both tomorrow and Friday! Brrrrrr.......! Already bought all the groceries I need a couple days ago, so now just hunkering down!

Now it's 32°! Kinda sucks the Taco is only 2wd, it'd be a lot better on the ice if it were 4wd! Don't have any tire chains either! Then I might could go to work! Lol! Oh well it's nice having a couple paid days off! Lol!

39f and drizzling right now. Big heat wave starting yesterday. Some snow has melted. Drove my taco in 4wd down some closed snow covered woods roads yesterday morning taking a shortcut....actually took longer, with the snow getting mushy, but it was fun.

It's 25° now according to my phone! It's supposed to get down into the teens tonight and in the morning with windchills in the negatives! Brrrrr.......! Don't know if the mail is gonna be coming or not, they didn't last year when there was snow and ice on the ground for a whole week and the temperature was -2°!

Our main reason for our 2021 Limited, 4x4, V6, auto, shortbed is to tow our camper.. we have no intention of off 4 wheeling so I'm thinking of lowering it..
Will I lose any towing capacity if lowered frt. & rear? Truck is rated for 6800lbs. but my camper is only 2k. All total weight carried & towed about 3500lbs. Anyone lower their truck & tow??? Thanks!

Don't know, never heard of anyone lowering a 4x4. Most people if anything like to lift their 4x4! Maybe someone with more knowledge than I will chime in.

Hey everybody I purchased several Toyota Tacoma t-shirts off Amazon, I plan to take pictures of them and post them on here in a few days! They're really cool! I ordered some Ford truck t-shirts as well and a hoodie, don't plan to post them on here unless y'all want to see them!

I can tell you my 2020 sr5 v6 tows my 2k lb plus boat no problem, but really needs a brake controller to safely do it. I've got a 5x10 utility trailer i use for my snowmobile thats gotta be about 1300 lbs loaded, and thats fine hardly know its there. I don't need to lower my truck. The 2'' drop hitch from my tundra fits perfect.

You know I ran across a guy at a local 7-Eleven several months ago that had an '04 base model Taco 2wd just like my '02 except his is a different color. He seemed to be an expert on Tacomas, at least on the 1st gen anyway! I wish I got that guy's name and phone number so I can call him when I have a question about my Taco! I see that truck driving around every now and then, I saw it today on the way home from work as a matter of fact! Hopefully sometime I can catch him at the 7-Eleven again and get his contact info and also tell him about this forum, I'm sure he'll really enjoy it!

Oh BTW he said his truck had 336,000+ miles on it at the time!

I do use a Bluetooth brake controller. But I like the look of level. But not raising front.

Hey everybody I promised I'd post some pics of the brand new Toyota Tacoma t-shirts I ordered off Amazon, well here they are! There's also a couple gun t-shirts in there too! Lol!20220210_170335.jpg 20220210_170428.jpg 20220210_170511.jpg 20220210_170554.jpg 20220210_170755.jpg

I also ordered some Ford truck t-shirts and a hoodie, I don't know if I should post pics of those on here. Post if y'all wanna see them, one of them has a '71 Ford Bronco another one has a '70s Ford F150 with a dog in the bed of it! Anyhow what do y'all think of these! Had to edit them down a little to make them fit!
