New to the TACOMA WORLD... Changing Tires looking to buy COOPER RUGGED TREX
Truck is a 2019 SR5 NO LIFT....
Have 245 75 r16 radials on it now... thinking of 265/70/r16... and from what I have read there should be no rub issue correct....
the guy at tire shop stated if I go to the size above it will effect gas mileage,,,he also said about it messing up tranny an transfer case,,,, which I dont believe but only tire place near by, TIRE RACK had a 100 off with tires so all I was looking to do was have them install them...

also have read mixed reviews on installing lights on top of cab, stated about glare off hood,,, does a sports bar work any better or just stick with lights on bull bar...

can i also install a hard cove with a sports bar as well. Pics please if anyone has this type of set up, thanks

Tacoma.jpg I have a 2019 SR5 with no lift and I'm running some LT265 / 75 / 16's with zero issues. They are a 10 ply and definitely give the ride heavier feel but I work on a road near two garbage collection facilities and trash trucks are up and down this road all day. Many of my co-workers have had multiple flats on this road from debris (nails, screws, and bolts) that we assume comes from the trash trucks. I have seen a slight decrease in MPG on the highway, but if I drive 50 - 55 on the backroads it gets 23-ish. I think it makes the truck look a little better as well.
I just bought out the lease on this last week so I'll be getting the front windows tinted and probably some window deflectors / ventvisors soon.
