Seat / passenger

Has anyone replaced the passenger seat with a more comfortable/ plush one? My wife will not ride in it because she says it's too uncomfortable. I know is this really such a bad thing, LOL! Seriously though I would like to find maybe a stock Tacoma seat if they ever made one that might be more comfortable. I have a 2023 TRD PRO, so don't want to have the seat redone so I can keep it in case I want to go back to stock and for resale. Or should I just go to a junk yard, buy one and have it upholstered?

Idk what the major difference's are between the 2020 sr5 seats in my tacoma vs the trd pro ones, but there's been no complaint from my wife when she's been in the passenger seat, and in the driver's power seat. She's remarked the truck is very comfortable to drive vs her prius. I guess if your butt is use to having a vehicle with plush interior/seating, having a tacoma is sort of a down grade when it comes to plushness.

Thanks, yeah guess I just need to get off my butt and start checking other Tacos. Would be nice if I could find something that would be a simple swap.

My wife doesn't care for the passenger seat cuz it has no lumbar is the leather limited any nicer or is the stuffing the same and is skinned in leather. My '03 tundra seats were leather and heated as well but we're a lot more comfortable. They bolted in the same too! I have a '16 sport my wife had an '09 rx350 Lexus and the seat had the same track with that little drop on the front bolt I wish someone made a bracket to move it back and inch or 2. I know there are brackets for the front and back bolt downs to lift them but not go back. Good luck and let us know what you find please. We did get an inflatable lumbar pad which works well but the heated seat doesn't make it through it to warm your back lol.

Seating position was better in my tundra, but the actual seat material was about the same as my tacoma. Took a bit of playing around with the power seat in my tacoma to get it where I liked it. I just wasn't use to having that many adjustments.

I could use another inch or 2 back . I had bought brackets for my ' 04 gt mustang and it would slide back 3 more which was nice
