brushed sum cosmoline on the gen2 passenger side a couple weeks ago when it was 90 degrees out

it look nice after the tarcoating was removed

Cosmoline holds up best on a new vehicle chassis as long as at least two coats are applied. Found crc, not quite as good as that rp-342 cosmoline.

When applying straight cosmoline like that, it needs to be thinned down so it creeps into all crevices like rp-342, or the crc marine heavy duty corrosion inhibitor.

Gotta get a wand, and spray the frame insides...thats how they begin to rust through with these tacoma's. I remember it being a real messy job on my gen3.

i sprayed other anti-salt stuff from canada inside there that is super fluid wont dry and only drips when it hot AF out
drips out that tailgate!!!

do the gen3 get all this NASTY saltspray inside the engine compartment?

this gen2 it comes in from the tires splashing all over the place
