    Suicide doors

my tip is that suicide doors make it very awkward for back seat passengers to exit at the same time as front seat passengers when angle parked, or when there is any obstruction near the exit side of the truck. They look cool though.

    Towing

V-6, has a towing capacity of about 6400 lbs, so yes the Lance is within your capacity. The tongue weight is less than 400 lbs. (listed). My TT has a tongue weight of a little over 300 lbs, so I have SumoSprings added in addition to sway control. You may choose a weight distribution hitch...

Who is towing a travel trailer?

never be afraid to low ball a travel trailer salesman. The mark up is extreme, if you look at msrp.

Who is towing a travel trailer?

Not what you are looking for, its an rPod. But, at a little over 3,000 pounds and about 330 tongue weight it does pull just fine. No need for a weight distribution hitch, but do have 300# Sumosprings, just to level the ride.

    What was your first car?

1956 Ford two door. It was only nine years old and cost $275. Drove it for two years and traded it for a 1964 Ford Galaxy 2 door hard top....great car that kept me mobile until I graduated from college and reported for active duty.

    Spark plugs

may not, but that is what my neighbor's Tacoma 4.0 had when I changed his. They were in my wife's 03 Camry, and my 08 Tundra as well. Maybe we were just lucky.

    Spark plugs

iridium plugs have a service life of about 100,000 miles. I expect that the OEM plugs in your 4.0 are Denso iridium plugs, so that or NGK iridium plugs should be considered as replacements. I have changes several sets of iridium plugs, at the recommended 100,000 to 105,000 mile mark....they...

    Hilux

The Hilux can be had with a diesel and a bunch of options that are not available here. They are common in Australia, usually tricked out with aluminum beds, boxes and racks suited to extended stays in the outback.

Consistent added weight support for rear.

air bags are not " set and forget", you need to constantly check the pressure. The pressure changes with ambient temp. and elevation as well. I would go for springs, since this is a permanent change in weight.

    Well shoot

take the upgraded suspension off, put the OEM stuff back on, before you let them look at your trade. Like you say, it does not add trade value, and may reduce it. Sell the upgrades to someone who wants them for a little extra cash to enjoy on your first road trip.
