just had to return a Nissan rental car because the fob battery was weak, it generated an error message, but finally did start the car,if the fob was held to the button....same drill as Toyota specifies.
so, I ended up with an extang encore. Like being able to open the front panel, and retention of the bed rail system. Leaks a little, but I can live with that for the trade offs.
it is interesting that the 3.5 V6 takes the same filter as the 5.7 V8.....both get their air from outside the engine bay. I don't see where the 3.5 is in need of more air.

youtube is your friend for this kind of thing. Watch several, some are more complete than others, but you will get the idea.
Also, I highly recommend iridium plugs, either NGK or Denso. They have a 100,000 mile life.

sent it back to TAG about five years ago, since the seals were turning to dust.....they sent it back to me saying they no longer had parts for it. A local watch repair got the job done.
looked at the available options and bought an Extang Encore. Like the ability to open the front section, and that the bed rail system is retained. We'll see how weather tight it is, but I like it so far.
