Skid was hung up on a frozen chunk of ice or the ground, not sure which, and rear wheels dug in, so i was done. Wasn't too hard to get out though since i wasn't far off the path. Plus i didn't know there was a culvert and drainage ditch right there haha.

Totally up to you , dude. Nothing wrong with a stock front end. However, you can get beefier brush guards that can stand up to some abuse. Might wanna look into Rand Hand.

Save your pennies and save for a good lift, then go tire shopping. 3" of lift and 33x12.50r15 or 285/75r16 is a very popular combo for these trucks. Its reasonably budget friendly, very capable offroad, yet highway friendly too. But be ready to do some fender trimming/pounding if need be. But...
