Agreed, just happened to me but with a different vehicle. Nationwide totaled my restored '98 Jeep Cherokee and wouldn't let me buy it back from them claiming Michigan law wouldn't allow it over a certain percentage of loss. Supposedly to reduce fraud in Michigan. The insurance carrier owns it...
