I looked around for a couple of minutes trying to find the backspacing of the wheel you're talking about... not certain but, most of the 5th gen 4-Runner wheels appear to have a 4.5" backspacing in the link down there... [emoji116]... so I'd say they're good to go as is... I had 285 and a 4.5 bs...

I did Total Chaos but I think they'll attach similarly; 1 long bolt through the uniball and the top of the spindle.

And while everyone is running out to see which axle they have, give those nuts a snug... I checked mine when I was replacing the u-joint the other day and they weren't as tight as I left them last year... I noticed a damp spot, put a wrench on all of the 3rd member nuts and most of them easily...

The easiest way that I've heard to check is if your 3rd member nuts are 14mm then you have the 8.75. If they are 12mm you have the 8. I'm not sure if we've ever nailed down exactly what trucks get the bigger ring gear but my 17 Sport MT has one...

3 much needed things... Furthest rear u-joint started chirping after my last long roadtrip, pulling a 6x12 box trailer loaded with tools and gear and also had a strong headwind for 2/3s of the drive... as far as I could tell, the truck did great under the circumstances... but a week or two...

I know this is old but was just checking it out, I love these builds too. I'm semi sure that this is a 3rd gen front cap on a 2nd gen X-Runner... pretty cool! The lines in the bed, no mirror blinkers and 5 lug make me think that... pretty awesome, whatever it is, though!

It's always a good idea to have the latest TSB's flashed. I did that myself with TechStream.
