    Exhaust

It's essentially a pipe inside of another pipe. It's a straight through design with fiberglass packing between the inner and outer pipe. Classic muscle

    Exhaust

Yes. The drone would be a constant hum or vibration from the lack of restriction of a muffler, straight pipe is notorious for having a loud drone at cruising speeds. ...but some people like the ringing in their ears after a long drive.

    Exhaust

It's the cheapest way, sure. Run it for a while and see if you like the drone in the cab, it'll be loud. Otherwise, a muffler shop can hook you up for under $500.

    Exhaust

In my opinion, flowmasters are raspy and kinda harsh, not what I was looking for. I have a borla pro series single in and dual out and had a muffler shop install it. The borla is modest but has deep bassy tones, aggressive at 2500 to 3000 rpms. No drone at idle or cruising.

I think the flowmaster American thunder series has a kit for the long bed...but if you don't it hard to get a bolt on for the long bed, I'd just go to a reputable muffler shop.

    Truck bed covers

Check out the "Bed Covers" thread in the tacoma aftermarket products. Lots of insight on covers. I have an ARE cap I use in the fall and winter, but I switch over to an Access Literider soft tonneau in the spring and summer. I personally don't like tri-folds, they block the rear window when...

How does the 4-wheel drive work?

Nope. You can engage 4x4 on dry pavement, it's perfectly fine. However, extended use of 4x4 on dry pavement can lead to drivetrain problems.

    Regular or Synthetic Oil

If you are putting a lot of miles in a short period of time, lets say a long daily commute for work, then synthetic will let you go longer between changes. This way you aren't having to change it every couple of months. If you aren't racking up huge miles then conventional oil will be fine...

    Regular or Synthetic Oil

Haha, that's not true. Must have been some miscommunication between you and the dealer, typical synthetics allow you to go 10,000 miles between changes. However, your "Maintenance Engine" will automatically come on every 5000 miles, to remind the driver to change the oil. It's up to the user...

    Roll up bed cover???

I've got a lo-pro soft tonneau I put on in the spring and summer. I love it, keeps the bed dry and the velcro works great. It's much easier to use than a snap tonneau.
