    Exhaust idea.

I know technically it did, but not enough to feel a difference

    Exhaust idea.

I ran my truck at our local strip last week. I beat 2 powerstrokes a celica and 2 stock Hondas haha. And a s10. And got pulled by a tuned and straight piped duramax. 20 bucks for as many runs as you can. It's pretty fun even tho the taco isn't fast. As for my exhausts I just cut my muffler off :)

    New Synthetic oil dealer

I would never run any type of oil in my truck for more than 6k miles. I run mobile one full syn 5w-30 and change every 5k

    Exhaust idea.

I don't understand the point in buying a 400 dollar cat back exhaust "system" when you can get a different muffler and tip welded in for 200 bucks. I mean it's all for sound anyway, so just go find the muffler that you like the sound of and get it welded in.

Custom tacoma tube/pre-runner style bumper build

We got a pipe bender in the other day at school. So I decided to pull the trigger and build a bumper. It will be out of 1.5" od 120 wall (11 ga.) tube. I would of done 1.75" od but the biggest die we have right now is 1.5". Today I just pulled the stock bumper off. And I also put the grille back...

    Rough country lift concerns

I'm guessing its a spacer lift. If it is then its a no. Spacer lifts are junk. Go with bilstein 5100s

    4.7 swap?

Well, it all depends on how much boost you run. But on the same amount of boost you will get more real power from a turbo. Because a supercharger takes alittle hp to turn it. So I puts drag on the motor. A turbo is spun by un used exhaust gasses

    4.7 swap?

The good thing about superchargers is that they are pretty much bolt on and go. Sometimes with turbos that isn't the case

    4.7 swap?

If you have the money turbo will always be better. You will make more power on the same amount of boost. Because superchargers cause drag on your engine. I know sts makes a kit for 2nd gens. Not sure about first

    Vendors?

As far as I know it is fine to post deals and what not, as long as it isn't any spam. I know I wouldn't mind some deals! I agree with a vendor section too.

Wind from open driver's window is brutal.

In my opinion the wind is the best when all 4 are rolled down all the way

    Exhaust system

2.39 is the size of the stock exhaust of the 4.0 v6. I assume it's the same for the 2.7 i4

    3" lift ????

If your main focus is on rocks, then get something that already has a straight axle up front, such as a jeep or older truck.

I know these guys make complete kits for first gens. They have several different kits including different stuff. http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/index.php/tacoma-sas-solid-axle-swap-kit-a-95-04.html
