I believe they had a recall on rear leaf springs?? I remember my 09 Tacoma was one that just misses this recall or they had the correct springs installed at the factory?? I would check with your local dealer.

Replaced fluid with fresh Toyota WS... $153.50 No report of low fluid. Truck drives and shifts great.

Added Subaru dash speakers and replaced the four door speakers with Kenwoods (to my 2017 Tacoma SR5) from Crutchfields. Honestly, Crutchfield is an awesome place for car audio. You cannot beat the service and price!! I have been buying car audio from them since 1989.

I had a Leer cap on my 2009 Tacoma. It was great for hunting/fishing and keeping gear dry during trips to Canada.

Oil and filter are cheap enough.. good advise.

Just found these for sale on-line?? Are they OEM Toyota side steps?? Anyone have a set like these on their truck??

Yes Backroader.. I think I purchased a set of Chinese-made running boards made by slave labor. Plus, road crews here in Pennsylvania add a nasty mix of "anti-skid" material and salt. Sometimes they add more anti-skid, they do not want the run-off into local waterways.

Dropping my Tacoma off at the local mechanic (he owns a Tundra and Tacoma) for a transmission service Mon 1/20/20. I have 53,000 on my truck. My mechanic claims that many times Tacomas and Tundras can come from the factory with low fluid levels in the transmission?
