Use a caliper to measure the thickness of your rotor and compare with the minimum value. That will be in a maintenance book. Don't change them unless they need to be. Wheel spacers are just a bad idea in general. I knew a guy who put them on his dodge ram and had to replace his ball joints at a higher frequency than his engine oil.. mind you he probably has something ridiculous like 3" +

Glad to hear you got that issue sorted out. Honestly I wouldn't bother with the spark plugs unless you really need to change them. From what I have heard they are a bit of a PITA to get at (at least on one side).

Just a few other thoughts; they could have installed the springs on your brake pads wrong. Or if they took the caliper off they may not have torqued it properly on the reinstall. Or maybe they used real cheap pads. Did you do the 'bed in' the new pads? Let us know what you find!

I think you're worrying too much. Mine jumps up to almost 1800 sometimes when I cold start it. And over 10 seconds it gradually drops to about 1000 and then to ~800 when warm. Your computer regulates the engine idle speed. Your new air filter is probably allowing much more air into the fuel...
