I wouldn't recommend it, but if you want a bit more life out of your engine before replacing it, it would be worth considering.

Apparently you can get an additive for your coolant and that will help reseal the leak. I think it's only good for so many mile though.

Is the wetness the issue or is that causing the issue? I've noticed my rotors get rusty if its even just humid and if I don't drive it for a while the brakes feel a bit 'gritty' until the rust is worn off.

Well based on the images looks like the leaking line was the suction line for the pump. Or an overflow. Which is low pressure. There would be fittings on the high pressure lines.

Might be worth it to just get new head light assemblies. The lens and reflectors are new and that makes a huge difference. I did mine not too long ago and it is brighter than I'd ever expected.

Yup one of the U-joints was seized and the others were worn pretty bad. Fortunately no damage done to the drive shaft. Now just to get my frame replaced ;)

I do feel that running a higher octane does make for better throttle response and mileage. But maybe that was just me over thinking it. Also usually fill up from a discounted gas station (0.05 off per L) if you pay with debit or cash. So who really knows the quality of that fuel. LOL.

I don't think so. My truck is a 2006 and I am getting new frame in 2 months (end of March). To give you an idea of how long the wait is, my inspection was back in July 2018.
