Is my 2017 clutch housing waterproof/sealable?

I drive a 2017 TRD Sport DCSBMT. I want to know for sure if it's bad to use the clutch in deep water. I've researched online for awhile and learned all about the reasons that is bad in general, primarily because water (or mud etc) can get inside the clutch housing and cause the flywheel to...

    Fuse blocks

Follow the write up for sure. There's also some good YT vids to show you the process. The principle is that you connect a high gauge connection directly from battery to fuse block, then all your accessories connect to fuse block instead of battery, and each of those connections have their own...

What have you done to your Tacoma today?

Would you mind telling how much you ended up spending overall? I really want to start working on a dual battery setup but will cost a bit. The model battery is the biggest cost of course.

4Lo. Although I've been focusing on trying to 2foot recently so when I think about the issue I can only think of traffic when lights turn green. Seems like 15% pressure gets me 1000 horsepower then 20% pressure gives me 2500 RPMs. Can get annoying in traffic when you're dicking around back and...

Adding sound deadening material to interior rear wall

I've never taken rear seats out of a Tacoma but just from looking at the bolts etc, I'm guessing it'd take about...3 minutes? Id recommend doing it yourself. This seems like an awesome opportunity for you to step out of your comfort zone just a bit. I guarantee you'll be surprised how easy it...

Did you find out if the update applies to manual transmission as well? Curious if the update just changes gear change or if also modifies sluggish pedal input.

Adding sound deadening material to interior rear wall

There are some products online like molle panels that people install behind the rear seats and from what I've seen online (And what I've seen under my own rear seats), it shouldn't be much work to remove them temporarily. Is there a specific reason you're trying to avoid taking them out?

    3 inch lift

Also remember the golden rule: if you lift more than 3" you should do a diff drop. Someone correct me if that mentality has changed.

    3 inch lift

Hey man that's not really helpful, there are spacer lifts there as well. What I think Crawdad is trying to say is that it's a much better idea to save a bit more money and lift it with entry-level suspension parts such as Bilstein 5100s, OME coils, and an AAL. You can find them relatively cheap...

    3 inch lift

Fair enough, nothing wrong with reaching out to learn more. That said, if you're going OffRoading, I absolutely 100% without a doubt DO NOT recommend putting a spacer lift on. Even if something doesn't break, you'll HATE the lack of travel. This is coming from someone that rode a RC 4" spacer...
