    3 inch lift

I ran a RC 4" lift with uniball UCAs, the lift road so terrible I took it all off and went back to stock. But the uniball UCAs are good for the preload of the suspension if you do. I kept those. I strongly recommend that you don't run a spacer lift, but if you do, I strongly recommend that you...

What have you done to your Tacoma today?

Followed most of this tutorial from TW, slightly modified: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/3rd-gen-tacoma-front-rear-camera-navigation-bypass-homelink-smartphone-mirroring-mod.473033/

Actually I take that back, the switch cost like $20 the rest cost $5.

What have you done to your Tacoma today?

Finished my DIY anytime rear camera mod. Had it working before but reverse lights came on without a relay. Added the relay today so now reverse lights don't turn on. Total cost less than $5. Works perfect!

Seat Mod For 2nd and 3rd Gen

When I stretch I have to cock my head to the side so it goes up into the moonroof area rather than hit the ceiling.

Seat Mod For 2nd and 3rd Gen

Does the mod just lift the seat higher? In 3rd gens we already have limited head space. I'd almost be interested in some method to lower the seat, except viewing angle already isn't great over the hood. Anyone in a 3rd gen do this mod already? What are your thoughts?

What have you done to your Tacoma today?

Yeah seconded about the ratcheting wrenches. Makes it way easier to take off those top 3 nuts.

Did I Make The Right Decision

Go to a Toyota dealership and sit in a new 4Runner. They feel more spacious to me (I'm 6ft), there's way more leg/baby carrier room for rear seats, and the SR5 and Limited models have optional 3rd row seats. Most people that own a 4Runner say they are more comfortable/spacious than a Tacoma.

    Front view camera

Fair enough. It is a great feeling to learn it and do it yourself. Don't sell yourself short! Good luck on it either way!

    Front view camera

I think you need to decide if you want to learn enough to confidently do this project or hire someone else to do it.

    Front view camera

If you just read the tutorial I posted you'll see that it's very easy to add a front facing camera to pretty much any head unit that already has a rear camera.
