I actually put an edge on them and the taped it off when I shot the base and then took off the tape and cleared it all. I was thinking about blasting it using the sandblasters at work but I might give that epoxy a try
I get about 13mpg with a mix of highway and city....that's with a 6.5" lift and bigger tires...the ride is real smooth for the Double Cab. This is my second tacoma and I'm in love with it. Also I LOVE the look of double cab long beds which is what I have.
I've had one on both of my tacos, the one I have now is mounted via roof rack, and the 1st gen had it mounted via door jamb which is what PinkTaco wanted but for a 2nd gen. The mounts I had for the 1st gen only fit the first gen.
That was on my 1st gen...he doesn't make em for 2nd gens. I do believe socalsupertrucks sells them for a straight bar and relentlessfabrication makes it for a curved
