To the original point, I don't like how some vehicles nudge the steering. Mine beeps, but I haven't noticed any steering correction.

I also ride a motorcycle, which easily fits in a blind spot. If you don't have time to signal, you definitely don't have time to make sure my bike isn't there.

It's funny how the actual rules of the road only apply to commercial drivers. For everyone else, they can make up rules until law enforcement and attorneys get involved. Show me the driver manual that say it's okay to switch lanes without signalling "when you have to" and you're free of any...

over the line is enough to collide with a vehicle that takes up all of the other lane...if you don't have enough time to stop for an object that hasn't moved, you are going too fast...I'm a trucker too and glad to have a dash cam...

Oh yeah, since I put my old cheapy dash cam in my work truck (semi) a few weeks ago, I've recorded two vehicles passing me in no passing zones, both of them ran oncoming traffic off the road, separate incidents. Also, yesterday, I recorded an idiot pulling out in front of me on a wet 55 mph...

So...I've got this friggin' expensive Blackvue on order and have been wondering about installation. I wish cars had a power source near the rearview mirrors.

That sucks, a dash cam system would be useful during service...put it on the right window aimed at the driver and tell them not to touch it.
