Depends on which bed you choose. My gf had a short bed, almost completely useless. I bought a long bed. Much better it's odd how just a little more length makes such a big difference. I install cabinets on the weekends and it hauls my tools and cabinets. I'm sure I couldn't fit my tools alone...

If it was newer say 5 years old or less then is say trade it in and you'll get a great price from the dealer but they won't pay much for a truck that old. Better off selling to someone personally.

Wow. That's crazy. I work at one of the plants that builds these trucks. We have ridiculously redundant quality checks in every process of making these trucks. It's very very unlikely that it left the plant that way. There must be something that happened to it between the plant and your hands...
