    New guy here

I traded in my 2nd Gen for a 3rd Gen and got a great deal on my trade. All depends what you want to do. At this point, you’re probably without a truck payment and 41k on a Toyota is really low miles. If the 3rd Gen has something to offer that you don’t have on your current one, than maybe...

Lift kit for 2019 TRD Off Road, crew cab, 6ft bed and cap.

Yes, it does go away in 4WD but then immediately returns when disengaged.

    Selling

Wow! Yeah someone messed up. That’s a real high price for a ‘17 2WD SR5 with 17k. They probably paid too much to take it back if that’s the case. I was happy when Toyota gave me 20k for my 2012 with 78k miles just a few months ago.

Lift kit for 2019 TRD Off Road, crew cab, 6ft bed and cap.

Phew...that’s a lot of questions Taco Rob! [emoji23] I also have a ‘19 LB TRD Sport model, no cap. I installed the HeadStrong Bilstein 5100 kit with OME 2887 coils preassembled. It allowed for 2” lift and I did not install a differential drop. The only issue I ran into is a slight vibration felt...

    Ed the new guy

The best choice is to teach her what to do when it starts to tailspin and have her keep her speed in check. Don’t use H4 unnecessarily.

    2017TRD SPORT

You may not be happy with 3” in front and nothing in the rear. It makes for a complete reverse rake. With the 3rd gen, I was able to fit 285/70/17 with the TRD Pro wheels that come stock on the 4Runner. You will need to remove the front mud flaps and the front skirt. Consider listing the rear at...

I am a fan of Bilstein myself. I’m sure there are a lot of good ones out there.

    Lifted 3rd gen

Love that side by side Tacoma comparison! That’s putting A LOT of $$ into your new $40k+ Enjoy it. Nearly 33’s on mine and I notice a huge difference in power and mpg but still worth it to me.

    Black Trucks Matter!!

Yes, Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT. Great reviews on those tires and I ran AT3’s on my last Tacoma and they were great too. The XLT had a more aggressive look. Tried them on for sizing and I was sold

Car wash blows off black roof gaskets every time

I had a 2012 Tacoma and had used the same car wash for years. Gaskets blew off one time after about 6 years of ownership but I was easily able to put them back into place. Hasn’t happened since. If I were you I would avoid that car wash and either use a different one or wash it by hand each time.

    2018 TRD SPORT SUSPENSION LIFT

Try a 2” lift with Bilstein 5100’s all around and 2887 OME coils. Just enough of a lift to throw on 285’s! I think you’ll be happy. I sure am...

    Tire shine

I recommend rolling up onto cardboard before spraying your tires and it won’t leave those smile marks on your driveway. Also, it prevents you from having to park in the street to shine your tires.
