Okay, after going back and rereading your post, I now wonder if you're trying to put a set of Jeep wheels on a Tacoma. So what is it? Do you have a 5 lug or 6 lug truck?

If I read your post correctly (where you talk about needing an adaptor to go from 5 lug to 6 lug) you have what is referred to as a 5 lug truck. If you have a 5 lug (not a PreRunner or a 4X4) I'm not sure the 245 will fit. The stock tire (I think) is only a 215. Does it come stock with a 15"...

Look on Craigslist or on other forums. I found a number of sets for $200 on Craigslist, but I wound up buying a set of TRD OR wheels from a member on TW for $125, complete with center caps and lugs. They were in great shape, off of a 2012 model. I just bought new tires and got them in my truck...

No, that's not true. Speedometer essentially reads how fast the wheel is turning. Smaller tire covers less ground every revolution, so vehicle is actually going slower than indicated. A simplification, but that's the basic idea.

And along that line...if you use purchase music through iTunes and download it, it comes as an mp4a. Plays great on Apple devices. Not 100% sure but I think if you use iTunes to rip a CD, you also get the mp4a.

Prerunner should get better mileage than a 4x4, but will not get mileage as good as a 5 lugger.

Actually, I've seen a few 5 lug trucks that have been lifted that look pretty good. Think of a PreRunner without the fender flares. As was mentioned, check out Tacoma World and you'll find a little more information
