Towing with a 4 cylinder engine

    I think it's rated around 3500 pounds.

    FUEL ECONOMY-2.7 LITER

2013 Prerunner 2.7/auto and I track my mileage religiously. Absolute best on the highway is 23, and I usually get 21.5-22.5 driving the speed limit. In town mileage varies from 16.5-18.0.

Does the iphone 6 ( not plus) work with Toyota entune?

The iPads connect with no problem. I've got both mine and my son's pads set to connect.

    CB Antenna Wiring

I have no idea what that's a picture of. You asked about drilling a hole in the rear of the cab and I suggested you simply pull one of the rubber plugs from the lower back of the cab. Nothing to unbolt.

    CB Antenna Wiring

Don't know how a rubber plug could be tack welded. Are you sure you weren't trying to pull out the wrong thing?

    CB Antenna Wiring

I have an Access Cab and I had to pull the back panel off to get to the antenna lead. Then I ran the lead under the carpet up to the dash.

    CB Antenna Wiring

The plug is about an inch in diameter, so I think it'll be plenty big enough.

    CB Antenna Wiring

Don't drill. On the back side of the cab, towards the bottom, on both drivers side and passenger side, there's a rubber plug. You'll need to remove the rear panel, then Remove the plug, drill a hole in the center the size of the wire you're running, then cut a slit from the outside of the plug...

    Coil springs

I was kidding. I do know what a fridge is, but...I grew up in Oklahoma and we called them "ice boxes" too. When I was in in basic training years ago, about 90% of my company was from Chicago, and they all thought us Okies and Texans talked kind of funny, too.

Are you asking what 15" wheels are available in black?

Randy, I'm pretty sure that all these guys are driving Prerunners and 4x4s, which come with 16s or 17s. They all sit substantially higher than the stock 5 lug. There's no way you can run the size tires they're running without substantial lift.

I honestly don't know if the 235s were on stock size rims or not. I'd think that if you had 7 " rims it would work fine. Not sure what other info you've received. If you've not done so, you might check out Tacoma World. They probably have a 5 lug thread with a lot more info.

    K&n CAI improves mpg

Yeah, that doesn't jive with everything I've heard. I'd bet that the change to synthetic would account for much of the improvement.

You got what's referred to as a 5 lug model. From what I've read, about the largest tire you can go to without a lift is a 235/75 R15.

    Catalytic converter theft

It doesn't. It simply fits in place of the missing converter. It's not intended for on road use. In most states you'd probably not pass you state emissions test without a catalytic converter.

    Frame difference?

Prerunner is only 2 wheel drive.

    Frame difference?

Not you. The OP used the term Base in his initial post. That's what I was referring to. Sorry that i confused the issue. Need to pay more attention to who posts what.

    Frame difference?

I meant it would have a slightly rougher ride than the 5 lug Tacoma, which is what I assumed you were talking about when you used the term "base."

    Frame difference?

No difference in the frame. Difference is in suspension. PreRunner has what is basically the 4x4 suspension, which has 6 lug, 16 or 17 inch wheels. As a result, it sits higher and has a slightly rougher ride.
