    Fog lights

Pretty easy to find a kit with everything you need. Just Google 2009 Toyota Tacoma fog light kit and you'll see lots of choices. The Toyota of McDonough site even has the installation instructions. That's my next mod.

Does 89 octane save, and is 93 octane even better?

Another way to do it would be to figure fuel cost per mile. For instance, yesterday I filled my truck up with 93 octane fuel and drove to Dallas. When I figured up my tank mileage, I got 24.7, which is a new high. So divide 3.369 (cost of a gallon of fuel) by 24.7 (miles driven on a gallon of...

What should I do to my car.

Ford of England made a V4. Saab bought engines from them and put them their cars back in the 60s. They replaced the 2 strokes that had been their hallmark.

What have you done to your Tacoma today?

Mounted my Maglite beneath the driver's side jump seat. Also, washed it.

    Bright lights dimming

Nearest thing I've ever had to that was a headlight relay in an old VW.

    Bright lights dimming

You're right. I answered a little quickly. What I should have said was "Don't confuse used with recycled." According to published reports a car battery is one of the top items for recycling, with as much as 98% of the battery recyclable. What I read indicates that all new lead-acid batteries...

    Plastidip

I have a question. Isn't the diamond plate made out of aluminum, or aluminium, as our English friends would say? If it is, then a couple of cans of normal spray paint won't work. A person would have to use zinc chromate primer and have a pretty good idea of what they're doing. Plasti-dip would...

You know, the fact that it is temporary is kind of "a-peeling" to me. See what I did there? I stated an alternative view, and did it in a humorous way.

    New Tacoma TRD PRO model

Hey, when I was in high school we used to do a little racing. Our local "strip's" starting line was the entrance to the cemetery, which seems strangely appropriate. I was safe though. My 1954 Chevy 2-dr. could just about reach 65, which was the speed limit back then, in a quarter mile.

Electric cars are a huge problem too

I think that one of the power sources that's being used more and more is coming from wind generators. Still a small percentage, I'm sure, but we're beginning to see a lot of them down on the gulf coast and out in west Texas,

Throttle body spacer is it worth it?

Okay, I should have said I almost always have an opinion about things. When you start talking about lifts and what size tires fit with what size height lift, I am in over my head. You'll have to carry on that topic with me reading on the sidelines.

What topic would you like me to pontificate upon now? I've always got an opinion about something.
